About this cartoon: A huge spurt of anti-Asian hate attacks, many of them violent, swept the nation. Fear of the COVID-19 virus, first found in Wuhan, China, was a motivator, but Donald Trump's incessant bashing of "the Wuhan Flu" or "the Chinese Flu" unquestionably spurred a great deal of this hatred targeting Americans who happened to look Asian (not limiteed to Chinese).
